Question Side impact protection??

My 8.5 year old usually rides in an Amp in our Ody with side air bags, I am perfectly comfortable with him not in a HB as he got close to outgrowing the HB TB. This Summer however he will be riding in my DH's classic car, passenger side and I am trying to decide if I should purchase him a PKWY SG to keep him in a HB as long as possible in that vehicle, that is used about 15-20 times in the Summer.

PS. he is using an 86 Y harness in this car.

I would use a highback as long as possible in an older car, personally. What about head restraints? Many cars don't have any headrests to help prevent whiplash injury in rear-impacts, and a good solid booster would help fill in that gap.

The car does have head supports, but not as good as they are now obviously. That's a good point, thanks! We will check out the Pkwy today.

and of course, I think the 86-Y MIGHT require proper head support... but for whiplash purposes, you just want to have it if possible.
