Are there any backless booster crash test without head support? I found one comparing high back and backless but its only a side impact. I need one that also shows backless frontal with out a head rest.
I'm so poed right now at my MIL and DH I'm to the point were they are not going to watch my child anymore.
I was cleaning house Sat and dd wanted to go to Grammy house lives right in front of us walking distance less then 2 minutes if walking slow. DH was there and he knows how I feel about what seat dd needs to be in she needs her high back no backless. Well I have no idea what got us talking on it and DH says oh they went somewhere in the truck and car wtf and what seat did dd use as her seat was a the house and no one came and got it. Hes says I am just kidding. Well Sunday we stopped by and MIL mentioned they took the truck once it got too hot for the car when her and dd went to town. I was so freaking mad. I asked dd what she sat in nothing, then shes oh the bottom part and I asked where, on the side, did you have your belt right yea the way Grammy put it.
OK so the seat belts in the car the buckle is back wards no one will fix it . I can't I tried so 1 there was a twist in the belt 2 she was in a backless 3 have no idea if the shoulder belt was done right. She was in a backless turbo screws have no freaking clue probably not.
The truck has a cosco backless hello no freaking head rest I am pretty sure her head was over the seat back as her cousins head is when she is in her backless. Hhumm there glass right behind her head, as far as belt fit I have no freaking clue.
I told dd she is not to ride with them unless they come and get her seat. DH knows this too but they all think I'm so freaking over protective nothings going to happen shes fine shes a big kid blah freaking blah
Nine times out of ten the darn boosters are in the middle lap only spots.
I don't say anything anymore about the cousin, but dam it its my kid buckle her up right. I cannot say she cant go over there because we live on part of their land. We cant move, we are buying this house. How freaking hard is it to drive down a darn drive way to get the proper seat Or pick up the phone I will bring it to you. Yea shes old enough for a backless but darn it needs head rest and the belt needs to fit right get it through ur darn heads. Heck at least I let her do a booster its not like you are having to get the GN harness. Which in their words too much trouble for what its worth.
