Rear facing vehicle seats

I know you aren't supposed to put rear-facing seats on them, but what about other seats like forward faicng carseats and boosters? Another question I'm trying to answer for someone

Nothing, nada, zilch. You just have to use them with no kind of seat, and within the stated limits of the seat (for example, last I checked, Volvo third row rearfacing vehicle seats were 50-88 pounds).

That's what I'm trying to explain but she's all about getting the actual "information" and facts. No seats would work like that, but it's all a confusing backwards mess to try to explain.
