My first rescue..

Saw this on the side of the neighbors house. Asked if I could have it because it looked like it was going out for trash..

I just brought it home, And am going to try and find what I can on it. I know you masters will be able to name it and tell me all about it in one shot.

I was wondering if this was one of the ones that has the booster only top slot in the back? We were talking about it in that other thread in the community.

It is DOM 2004.

I don't have time today but tomorrow I am going to see if I can install it correctly and play with it.

It's a Safety 1st Enspira, I believe. It had a wide backless booster as/on the bottom.

Yes, I remember seeing someone posting the backless booster and it was weird. It has these arches on the side. AHH, I keep forgetting the seat pictorial.. off to look!

To me, it looks like the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Safety-1st-Intera-Convertible-Seat/dp/B0002EO5C8"]Safety 1st Intera[/ame]

The pictorial says this is current as of 2010 so it is still in production? Does anyone know if this is a 6 or 8 yr expiration? Does the base have a longer expiration like GN?

From looking at some old Intera reviews, it looks like the expiration date is 8 years. It should be stamped somewhere on the seat. I think the Intera first came out in 2004 so it shouldn't be expired yet.

I don't believe it has the same top slot rule as the alpha omega 3-in-1 type seats as it has separate harness slots instead of the slider bar in the back for harness adjustment.

I would guess an 8 yr expiry since it's intended to be RF, FF and booster. I don't know that for sure though.

I have an intera! I love it. I took the base off immediately, and kept it in my trunk. The backless booster is crazy but I've used it in a pinch. My super tall 3 yr old still has an inch FF.

My first thought was Intera too, and then I remembered the ladybug Intera. It still makes me giggle to look at it.

I went to out car seat guide to see if there was a downloadable manual and it is not there.

Is it still being made? I am off to find the manual before I start playing with it.

Is the DOM sticker still on it? If you can find the model number, you should be able to go to the Safety 1st site and download the manual.

The Intera wasn't actually a bad seat. And that one looks like it was fairly well taken care of!

That ladybug seat is scary!

Intera. We used to have one of those and I remember going to trade the seat part (the booster/base had been long since thrown away) to BRU and as I was handing it to the customer service rep I saw the date stamped on the bottom and it was not expired as I had expected it to be. Didn't matter, as I hated the seat and had no intention of using it again.

It is in pretty good condition for 7 years.

I did find the date expiration.. DEC 2012. and I see the model number for the manual.

I had to take grandmom to the dr today and am just getting home. So I hope to get out there soon when Dh gets home.

I have this seat too!!! It is an intera. It was my DD1 seat from 8m- 4yr old. It was good to us as a rf seat and ff seat. It sucks as a booster. I got it as a gift at my baby shower back in 05. Mine sits in the garage because I dont have the heart to throw it away.

It is a recalled seat I just checked.. The harness seems tight. I have not installed it yet. I am trying to install it rf. And can not for the life of me get the base off. I know it installs with the base and without..
