RN install in 2001 Civic

Is this ok? That's as upright as I could get it using all the tricks I've read here. My phone says it's about 35 degrees. The MA next to it reads 31.5.

Is it ok to brace like this? It's pretty solidly braced but it didn't affect the angle of the seat. My seat is still one click closer to the wheel than I like so if you have suggestions I'm all ears. I'd love a toddler boot about now.

This view shows from the front. The RN touches the metal supports for the vehicle headrest but is not pressing against them.

So far I like the seat. It does what I need it to do which is RF a heavier, older child. I hate the ratcheting adjuster. I got a much better install with the seat belt than LATCH which is kind of annoying because the belt gets in the way when the kids are getting in and out. I wish the boot was about half the size it is. I'm not sure I like the fabric. I think I prefer the plush ones better but the kids don't seem to mind it so whatever. I love the head and leg room. I do wish the head wings were easier to move and the harness moved with them.

So critique my install please. :)

Looks great:thumbsup: Here's mine in an 04. After those pics were taken, we realized the head restraint needed to be raised for DH so it actually ended up looking exactly like yours with the top of the Radian between the seat and the head restraint.

Looks exactly like mine, same color car and everything. Except, well, mine is passenger's side and LATCH. There's no airbag sensors to worry about, so if you can get it to go you can shove your seat back another click.

Did you find the RF tether spot?
