Question Britax cupholders....are they worth it?

Their snap on cupholders. I bought one from Amazon to go with my new Marathon70. Within two weeks it had snapped off....no way to repair it....the plastic broke.

I returned it for a (hopefully) refund...it was $14 for a little piece of plastic!

But it would really be convenient on longer trips for dd's water.

Was mine a dud or do others not have luck with these?

Or any other solutions people have for this?

I miss our Graco Nautiluses! But they are now too wide since we had another baby. Honda Ody....cannot reach another cupholder from baby's seat, I don't think.

Thanks!

I'm on the fence about ordering one (I just got a MA70 today). I've read reviews about them breaking off easily. But I'm just hung up on wanting a cup holder for DD. She's hasn't mentioned the lack of one, but like you, I think it would be nice to have for water bottles for long trips, etc. I'd love to hear what others think.

We use a SafeFit Snack Pod with a 2007/33lb Blvd. It works fine, but it wouldn't hold a water bottle easily--those would tip out. It holds a short sippy easily. Kiddo just keeps his thermos alongside himself.

Thanks for the reply.....and your girls are soooo cute!

And I have five kids, too....and they are almost the EXACT same ages as yours (my youngest is only 15 months...but the rest are almost the exact same)! Would love to know your seat configuration some time! :)

And I agree with you on the long trips. I don't think we will miss it much for around town. But a cupholder for long trips would be nice. Where are the reviews you saw for it?

This???

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Brica-64002-Snack-Pod-Gray/dp/B004L2JJ7I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1301531600&sr=8-2"]Amazon.com: Brica Snack Pod, Gray: Baby[/ame]

It does not look like it would clip onto a MA70.

Different brand:
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/BRICA-Inc-53002-Safefit-Snack/dp/B0030DG4OU/ref=pd_cp_ba_3"]Amazon.com: Safefit Snack Pod, Grey: Baby[/ame]

It's a tight fit, but it goes on.

I know I looked at amazon.com but I can't remember where else... I know I saw reviews at several websites.

I have an 07 grand caravan. DD4 is FFing in a radian 80sl in the center of the third row and DD1 and DD2 are outboard in the third row in harmony literiders. DD3 is in the passenger side captains chair in a Nautilus as a HBB and DD5 is RFing in a MA70 in the drivers side captains chair :)
