I just realized that the Vivo doesn't work for E in MIL's car.

I think the lab belt is too low? Is that possible? It's like way down on her thighs, and it seems like she'd scoot forward too far or something if she were to be in a wreck. She fit great in our's when I was playing around with it. I guess it's the car? She'll need to stay boostered in MIL's car. She's closer to 35lbs now ( I need to update my sig). MIL drives an 03 cavalier. I was hoping for something with a little more side to it than a turbo. I haven't really looked much into boosters in a long time. We have a Monterey, but it's a 40lb minimum and I haven't tried her in it anyway. A's just about at the end of it, and will need to go backless in the cars she still needs a booster in.

So, hit me with suggestions for HBB that fit littles, and work with the geometry of a chevy cavalier.

I'll get some tomorrow :). It literally only hits her thighs, not pelvis or hips, and it doesn't really touch them that well no matter how tight I get it, if that makes sense.

The belt was too far down for 10yr A with the turbo arms in their lowest spot. So, it is possible

oh i know nm, the "older kid in a turbo with low armrests" is a good example of belt fit too low, one of the only i know, actually.

It's been raining here, yesterday and is today, so I haven't made it to MIL to get her in the booster. She only rides with her a couple of times a month, so I don't have immediate access. I think it's also as much the lap belt barely touches her thighs were it does it as it is that it seems too low? It just seems an odd, not that great of a fit. I'll either bump this thread or just start a new one when I get a chance to get some pics.

would she like a Cybex? what's your budget here?

I'm thinking the best bet would be a turbobooster... those things fit little 30lb 2yr olds just way way way too well (even though no 30lb 2yr old should be using one) or something really cushy like the cybex (which also seems to fit little ones really well)
