I just recently finished my class and I just today got my certification number. So I thought if I put in my tech number on my details page Id gain access to the private tech forum? But nothing happened??? Does it just take time? Or do I need to PM someone.

The moderators have to approve it, yes.

NVM I think I found it.

Only one question.... If I have my info posted to the public do I HAVE to list Car-seat.org as an affiliated organization?

Oh and how do I know if I am an active member on National CPS Certificate's website. Will it say on my main page with my info?? d

Yes, but I don't think the public can see that. I'm not sure though, I'd have to go look at my profile. And we double posted, so see my earlier reply.

Yea I saw that

It says
"2) Unless you are known personally to one of our Instructor moderators, you must either be listed on the SAFE KIDS USA website as an active technician or instructor or list Car-Seat.Org as an affiliated organization in your Safe Kids USA Profile (see step 3 below). If you cannot find your name in the SAFE KIDS online listing, you may need to access your account at the SAFE KIDS website in the Online Services area. You will need your SAFE KIDS User ID and password. Once you have entered the system, click to "Update Profile and Contact Information." In the Attributes section, please make sure the box is checked to give Permission to Post "Available to Public". If you prefer to keep your information private, then you must complete step 3."

How do I know if Im listed as an active tech?

Will be interested to see how being listed as certified on here goes for you....I completed the course a month ago, am listed on the SafeKids site, have followed the steps on this site and still am not listed as a tech here. I gave up trying....better luck to you!!

The Moderators have to approve you to the Tech "group". I was able to expedite the process by bothering QuassEE in chat

about it, but if you haven't been approved within 2 weeks, I'd suggest PM'ing a mod or Admin.

Technicians and instructors registered on the SAFE KIDS USA website will be given access within a few days, hopefully faster If you have followed these steps and have not been given access within 72 hours OR if you wish to request an Instructor title, please also:

5) If you are an instructor and would like the Instructor title, or if you have any issues with tech access, please send a private message to the Admin and/or to murphydog77. Please include name, your technician/instructor number AND your state or zip code, as this forum is intended for SAFE KIDS USA certified CPS technicians and instructors, with no exceptions. If you have not completed the necessary steps above, you will not be approved for access.
