Headwings too low?

I know it doesn't look it but the harness slot is actually above her shoulders, slightly, but definately over. The headwings look low to me, they look lower IRL and sometimes, depending on how she sits, her shoulders are closer to the belt guides. Is this OK, or do I uninstall this seat :( and raise the harness?

If it were me I would raise the harness. that is jsut too close to the shoulders for me. i know they are over but she could be sitting differently or have a small growth and she'd be over.

I'd raise it too. If the back of that vehicle seat can be reclined you might get away without having to uninstall the seat to adjust it. (Just the tether)

Thanks.

I forgot I had this thread
It's weird, sometimes her head looks to much over the top and sometimes not. I'm worried where her head will impact on the wings.
I think the seat is reclined a bit, it was the only way I could get the seat reinstalled after I cleaned the cover, I'm afraid to recline it again, I had to get Rachel to push with her legs to get it as upright as it is.
Will try on the weekend.

If the slots are at or above her shoulders, you can leave the headrest as it is. My personal preference is to try to get the widest part of the head between the narrowest part of the head wings to reduce head movement as much is possible, which is exactly where her head is with the headrest where it is.

When you do have to move it up, no need to uninstall. just recline the seat the car seat is sitting on just enough to reach your hand in and move it up.
