3 across help!

I had my 3 across all figured out and it fit perfectly, but now that S is FF I can't get any combo to work.

B 63lbs, 4 years 3 months
S 40 lbs, 2 years 4 months
K 7 lbs, 10 days!!!

I have: XTSL, Myride, MA, Frontier, Nautilus, CCO, SR32, and 2 TF. I would be willing to buy a new seat but would like to find something that works with what I have.

I did have FF XTSL (Driver side), RF CCO (Center), RF MR (Passenger side) but now that S is FF that won't work.

I tried FF XTSL, FF MR and that didn't leave enough room for even the RF CCO. and I tried FF Frontier, FF MR, without room for anything next to that.

The XTSL doesn't install FF in the center and doesn't install anywhere RF.

If I can't find anything else to work I am thinking about another XTSL. Then I would put the 2 FF XTSL both sides outboard and the RF CCO center. This limits me to only being able to use the CCO for K and I would like the option to use the SR32 if I want to.

This is going in a 2001 Volvo S40. Thanks!!!

I have tried a LOT of 3 accrosses in my Liberty (not a huge backseat) and a CCO fits well RF between 2 FF radians, a SR35 also fits there in my car. I think the 32 would have a chance at fitting there too.

I'm almost positive a CCO will fit between 2 RNS. I also think a SR32 will fit between, but I'm not sure if it will fit because of how little the backseat is and how far back my seat is. I will def try!

Is your marathon a 65 or 70? Will the CCO fit next to the MA? What about FFing radian, FFing MA, RFing CCO?

We have a 09 matrix (small back seat) and I was able to do Chaperone (RFing), FFing radian, FFing BV65. Not quite the same as your situation but I was thinking maybe since the CCO is pretty small (so I've read, I don't have one) it might work next to the MA and if the MA is the older version it might work next to the radian (both FFing). If that makes any sense...

You already tried my ideas for the seats you have :) The Radian/MR combo has always puzzled really well in my car...

Hehe! Thanks for trying! I did try the radian/mr combo and it almost works! It is really narrow when puzzled together but since I can't get the radian in the center it doesn't quite work. The part on the mr where the cupholders are flare out just enough so the CCO won't fit.

I tried the radian next to my marathon and even though it puzzles well the CCO still doesn't fit.

I figured something out for now. I have a FF radian, RF Coccoro, and FF HB Turbo. B sits well in the booster and she has almost outgrown all of the harnessed seats so I figured we could do some booster training. I'm not thrilled with the set up but I feel like I'm running out of options to keep her in a harness.

Try reversing the order you install the MR and CCO in. Get the CCO really tight and sink it into he seat as far as you can to her or (get it) below the culminate (cup holder), then do the MR.

****OMG stupid auto correct made a mangle out of that sentence.

I'll try that this weekend! The seats are staying the way they are till Friday!

Do I leave them in the same spots in the car? (CCO outboard, MR center? or switch those too?)

I would try the MR in both positions... but speaking as someone who has had a MR outboard... it makes getting to the center seat a pitb!!

Not sure if you are using LATCH or not, but if you use the seat belts instead you can get a couple extra inches on each outboard seat. The latch system forces you to "center" each seat, where as the seat belts allow you to move the child restraint (car seat) a little closer to the door.
