bunched up padding

so I washed the cover of our carseat and the padding inside it is all bunched up. Is it still safe? would it be safe to cut a small hole, straight out the padding, and sew it closed?

I've tried to straighten it out without cutting holds but I can't.

It's an evenflo symphony 65. I washed it on delicate with cold water, and tumble dry on low for 15 minutes, then air dry. Just like the instructions say. I've washed it several times before without issue, but this time all the padding got bunched up.

Contact Evenflo. There have been several people here who washed there Triumph Advance covers and had the same thing happen.

I had an Evenflo Triumph Advance that that happened to me when I washed the cover. I washed it according to the instructions just like you. I contacted Evenflo who told me is was safe to continue to use it, but they sent me another cover out as well. I got the cover within a few days & sent them the other one back.

we also have that seat and are on our 3rd cover from them everytime i wash it it bunches up really bad in the sides and the butt area, i am currently looking for a different seat but that is a question for another day and a different area, lol
