Carrying a HBTB

My dd is going home with a friend today from school and needed to take her booster. I hate her carrying the TB because the back falls off too easily and I worry she'll drop it. So, this morning, I came up with this idea to keep the back on.

I will try to get a picture later (after I pick her up) if anyone is interested.

I took a bungee cord and wrapped it around under the armrests and around the back. It is tight so there is no way the back can lean back and fall off. YAY me! :D

All so I can go help at a checkpoint today :p

Yeah, it was busy but snowed on us the entire time! I was soaked so much my hair was dripping all over my forms. It was fun though. The worst seat I saw was a 22 mo, 22 lb. little boy in an Evenflo Big Kid. He left in a RF Scenera. His big brother was in a backless Big Kid backwards (the booster was backwards on the seat). Turns out it was becaus he's too wide to fit comfortably between the armrests. The kid is 9 and weighs 99 lbs!
I talked to grandma (who brought him) about the limits of the boosters (100 lbs) vs. the risk of a poorly fitting belt. He left in his booster with the recommendation to by a Harmony Literider since it fits wider kids better (we tried him in mine).
