Distance between passenger seat back and dash is 28" for these installs.
First up was the original Britax Marathon.
Outboard:
About 1 1/2" from the car seat to vehicle seat.
Center:
Learnign Curves True Fit Premier.
Without headrest:

There is a little space still.
Center, still space between car seat and vehicle seats:
Complete Air:
Barely a finger's worth space:
Center, it hit the driver's seat:
Combi Coccoro.
Latch. I had a rough time getting it tight:
and it did the Coccoro tip:
Must better install with the belt.
