Handouts with the dangers of buying used seats?

Had a check today with a mom who bought a 2nd hand infant bucket for her 6 month old. She's also already gotten a used convertible for her for when she outgrows the bucket. I told her the dangers of it, but does anyone have a good site or handouts explaining why it's not a good idea?
