Max height to rearface in Blvd?

My manual is in the van, and the van isn't here right now!

I looked over the scenera manual and apparently Alayna can RF by weight (she's 30 lbs, so 5 under the limit) BUT the max height is 36 inches. She is 37.5 inches. I wondered what is is for the Blvd. She is in a Regent in our van, but we'll be using the Blvd (the baby's seat) for her at our destination in CA, while baby will use the Scenera RF. Baby is 20 lbs, 28 inches.

Thanks!

I looked on the website, I didn't see a height listed. Hmmmmm. So do you think that nearly 4 yo dd can RF in the Blvd?

The height listed is irrelevant. What matters is how they fit in the seat.

The Boulevard/Wizard manuals changed from year to year. To me it was a bit vague if the head to the top of the shell was the headrest or the shell of the seat, but others I think may have cleared that up? *I* was comfortable with having Piper's head just above the shell but still very well contained in the headrest. That's a parental decision. The Boulevard manual is online at the britaxusa.com site, if you want to download it.

Piper still fits RFing in the Wizard and she'll be five in a couple of months. She's 40.5 inches tall with a 15.5" torso.

That was last October at 4y3m. The headrest had been moved up a couple more times before she turned FFing. I think her head was just coming over, maybe an inch over, the top of the shell of the seat, but well in the headrest.

So she CAN RF in the Blvd but are you saying to disregard the 36" height limit that's listed in the Scenera manual?

I did find the Blvd manual online and Dl'ed it. :)

Right. The 36" is because they have to list something. But she can fit RF in the Scenera until her head is within an inch of the top of the shell. Whether that's 32" or 39".

Have her sit against the wall and measure from her butt to her shoulders for her torso height. That might give everyone a better idea.

My son outgrew his infant seat 3 inches before the height max since his height was all in his torso. He's in an MA now.
