oops- sorry... I just never seen this before:eek:

Oh, no worries! Nothing wrong with bringing it back up. I just figured I'd link you to show you some other responses on it. :D

I'm sure there's a lot of new people who haven't seen it yet. I still think it's pretty awesome!

Wow, that is really cool. I wish that were available here. It would help people not have to buy a bigger car. I love it!

Hey that was my idea! LOL

I had no idea it existed, and have wanted to invent something like that for myself since, well, every time we outgrow a vehicle :p.

....just wondering why it's "ok" to have the kids shoulders almost at the top of the seats, forget about their ears....unless that's just a bad example pictured.

And it really is designed for any size vehicle. We have a Toyota Corolla we struggle to do a 3 across in, and they've said that a multimac 1260 - which has 2 narrow and 2 wider seats - would fit. How cool is that?

Neat concept but...if you are in a crash, you would need to replace it, right? 1299 GBP = around $2100 for the seats alone without any extras like head rests, so you could possibly be looking at $3000+. Good luck getting an insurance company to cover that

I dunno, there's over $2000 worth of seats in my van quite often...

Should they ever get this thing in the US, I'm buying it. It's not going to happen until the US changes the test bench to have a floor and allows for floor mounts and stuff. I had a bit of a conversation with the guy at multimac a few years ago. They were hopeful of getting the seat approved for US shortly after getting it on the market in GB. It's been years since and so I figure it's the stupid floor-less test bench which won't let the thing into the US. I love the idea, though.
