K shooting thoughts out of my head

I bought a fpsv for tristan,I am excited because with the radian I couldn't have it rf because it went back to far for the drivers side(madisyn is behind me(passenger) at a 35 degree angle). So now that I have a fpsv tristan is definatly going back RF since he is still only 28#'s he will probably make it to 3 rf :D .But here is my delima.

I am a HUGE rf teether fan.I love them.I hate the whole rebound thing, but I could not afford another britax right now with summer classes tutions due.I know tristan is heavier so I plan to put him in the dc rf behind the driver and Madisyn behind me in the fpsv.I don't like using towels or noodles(just don't like anything between the seat and the carseat). But now I am wondering,at 4 months old and great head control,I still like her to recline at least at a 35 degree angle, will i be able to get that angle with a incline seat and no teether with no towels?Because when I put my dc in without the teether it sites straight up then I pull the teether and it reclines to the angle I want it.

So if I can't get the right angle without help from something between the seats,Madisyn will stay in her dc so I can recline her and tristan would be in the fpsv.So finally after all this a question.Would It be better to have him FF with a teether or RF without a teether?I am just scared about the rebound with him being 28#'s.

So tell me what you would do as a tech and/or a parent.

This is actually a question I agonized over quite a bit.

As Jackson was 33 lbs, I played with the idea of buying a scenera for the next 2 lbs but the lack of a RFing tether bothered me...

But then I realized, the vast majority of children are untethered RFing and even though there might be some mild injuries from that, surely there were no fatalities from it or we would have heard about...

So anyway, I tried Jackson in the Scenera and he was TOO TALL to RF in it( and to wide for the uptown) So my only choice was to get another AOE and to be honest $130 for a carseat I know that I hate and might not work anyway, I just wouldn't do it. So FFing he went and in the last 3 months has grown 2.5 ins so the AOE probably wouldn't have lasted long..
