Get a copy of theses new recomendations.

I really hope so so they will stop telling parents to turn at 1 and 20

I gave my mom who was the office manager at a peds office a copy of the 2009 recommendation to RF until 2 or the seat limit, and that didn't stop the doctor from telling parents to FF at 1 & 20.
Most ped offices are AAP members and will get a copy of this- some oldschool doctors will never change though

It's in the journal Pediatrics, which is put out by the AAP, so they should.

However, this was in Pediatrics two years ago, and so we know how well that's gone over.

My son was just at the ped at 18mos, and no discussion of carseats, period. I'm hoping its just bc he knows we're conscientious parents? Who knows.

Just went for my kids 3yr and 5yr well checks respectively and the handouts that they give to everyone for a well child check were awesome in terms of specific car seat use. I was really surprised, but glad. Now as to whether anyone actually READS the info, who knows
