Help with facebook post

I have a friend who posted about the AAP and highway commissions recomendations for RF and boostering on facebook. There is a discussion going on in the comments and I need help composing a reply. Basically this girl is complaining that her 50th percentile 9 month old is squished rearfacing in his "big boy" seat (apparently outgrew the infant seat, so I assume she has a convertable seat). This is here latest reply and I need help with how to politely tell her she is missinformed about the carseat recommending he be FF.

i am all for rear facing and we have been squished for a while now. we will rear face as long as we can, without him sitting in a v with his feet on the seat back. according to carseat recomendations we should already be forward facing, just looking at height and weight. why cant all these "governing" bodies get on the same page ?! just trust your gut and go with what you feel is right :)

Sounds like she's got a Graco convertible, which has that recommendation. Also sounds like it's a Comfortsport if he's all squished up, rather than a My Ride.

Apparently there is alot of discussion about this article. 4 people on my FB page shared the link, then I posted it and about went toe to toe with someone who's first response back was.."do these people's kids have LEGS?" and told me, good luck with that..like I'll be lucky to RF my kid past 1 year.

They recommend that their legs not touch the back, or bend, or be uncomfortable or some such nonsense. They have a 20 pound minimum, but no age minimum.

Pretty sure only the early mr manuals said that, after the first couple of months they took it out. Can't speak for the cs though.
