I tried my kids out in a few seats, but not too many. The baby was being super clingy and screaming when not allowed her own way.

Anyway, Dd3 has long outgrown rfing in the MA70, but provided she's still within the weight limit, she fits rfing in the classic MA. The symphony 65 E3 looked nice, but if the rule for rfing is an inch to the top of the shell, not the headrest (I don't know what it is), then she's outgrown it rfing as well. It would be nice for ffing. Same goes for the smart seat. Dd is 6, but she's 34 pounds and still has room to rf in the radian.

I sat ds1 in the smart seat. He's outgrown the harness and close to outgrowing it in booster mode. I know I'm really picky about car seats, but in my picky opinion, the smart seat is not so awesome.

I picked up a classic marathon on clearance with a 30% off coupon:) I think I'm happy with that.

What cover did you get?

It's shiny silver in the middle, fuzzy black outside, with red piping. I have no idea what it's called. I'm going to find cow to put on it.

I was a bit upset about those land's end prices because I bough dresses just a few weeks ago, but I looked and they are out of the right sizes for my girls, so no big deal;)

COngrats on finding a seat. Does this mean the TF is staying in DH's car? And the MA will now be in your van?

You baby is NOT 20 months!

And, I'm not a fan of the Smart Seat either. It's been riding in my trunk for weeks now
