Can I see a pic of the lapbelt fit on your child that has passed the 5 step test?

ignore the shoulderbelt fit... as you can see, he's leaning way to the side to be all hamming for the camera and obviously it fits fine when he's sitting up to ride in the moving vehicle.

here's him sitting up better, but you don't see the whole lapbelt as well

not sure how well you can see where it is... but this is Damian last summer in the third row.

Thanks! I have an 8.5 year old that passes the 5 step test in my van

Then after seeing lap belts in boosters, I was 2nd guessing myself on the lap belt fit

But, looks like she is good. I can't believe it. My former 10 year old couldn't even pass the 5 step in the 2nd row outboard (only 3rd row outboard and 2nd row center).

My 9 yr old passes the 5 step test in the 3rd row of my Yukon. He is still bosstered in our other vehicles and in the 2nd row in mine. I prefer him to ride in a booster regardless but he is over the headrest in the 3rd row with a booster.

She still rides in a booster in her parents cars, because I haven't checked her yet. She actually sits better without a booster (as in sits still). So, I'm happy to have her in there w/o it.

Jeffrey only passes in our van... in our 2-door cobalt, he would pass in the center (because it's raised up higher than the buckety outboard seats), but the tops of his ears are well above the top of the seat and it has no headrest, so he sits outboard in a booster.
