So, WendyTT and I went on a little road trip today and put 4 kids, all RF, in her 2012 Mazda 5 :) 2 CCOs, 1 Radian, 1 TrueFit.

Love the look on Laine's face. "You got me back here with this who cries... idiots."

 Nice! How hard was that to do?

Not that hard actually!! The TF is super easy, the radian went in easy and we totally could have gotten it more upright but we didn't want to work at it. The 2 CCOs were probably the hardest but even those went in in under 5 minutes each.

Took five minutes? We could have fought more with the Radian and gotten it more upright, I'm sure. The TFP is Laine's normal seat in her normal position, so that didn't need to get moved. We did the CCOs from the back and put the babies in through the hatch.

And the advantage to the screaming T3 in the back? Harder to hear way back there! :)

When we were moving he didn't scream at all. It was actually a very pleasant ride, even with all four of them back there.

What are attached to the headrests? The clip to hold it on looks substantial. I thought they might be mirrors which I am looking for one that attaches like that.

That's the cutest Mazda5 pic I have EVER seen! And I'm very excited- the CCOs can fit rfing in the 3rd row with the 2nd row pushed back? I've always wondered, but the baby store here that sells them won't let you try them out even in the store, so I refuse to patronize them.

We put the middle row one click forward *against the car's manual*. I happen to have a high school classmate who works for Mazda. He's going to ask an engineer why they have that rule. Bur we were comfortable making the parental decision to click them forward one.

There was a redesign this year. It's got a slightly different engine, a six gear manual transmission instead of a five, but otherwise not too many differences I don't think.
