Help, my Radian XTSL is coming loose!

I have a Radian XTSL installed FF in my van. It is installed with LATCH and I just noticed today that it is coming loose on its own. I kept tightening it and it would not stay tight. I think I read that others have had this issue too. Does SK have a fix for this? Tonight when my husband gets home I plan to take our Britax Marathon out of his car and install it in our van until we figure this out. I know I could just install it with the seatbelt, but when I bought the seat I was so excited about being able to use LATCH and never need the belt with that seat. I'm pretty disappointed right now.

What is the make, model, and year of your van?
How old, weight, and height of the child riding in the seat?
Just some basics so we can help troubleshoot.

It's a 2008 Sienna.

My son is 2.5 and very big. He weighs 40 pounds and is tall. I had him RF until a week or so ago when I noticed him kicking the LATCH strap and loosening it. Well I assumed it was him loosening it since I know he was kicking it. I tried a RF seatbelt install, but I was having a hard time with it so I moved him FF with LATCH.

It appears your vehicle is one that is being affected by the LATCH loosening. We believe this is due to the position the LATCH tightener sits at in relation to the beltpath, allowing it to loosen in a similar way some locking latchplates do.
I urge you to report this problem to NHTSA: https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/index.cfm

Now, don't be afraid of seatbelt installs! Remember, the seatbelt is just as safe as the LATCH system, and in a lot of cases I actually find the seatbelt much easier to use! Try a seatbelt install, I believe you'll find it much easier than you expected. Remember that you can reach into the beltpath through the cover, which makes it much easier to install.
Here's a demo:

What problems were you having with your rear-facing install? If you'd like to turn him back around rear-facing, we can help you with that as well. :)

I will try a seat belt install if I have to. I had a hard time getting a decent angle with the seat RF when I was doing the seat belt install. I'm not sure why, but I was having better luck on the angle when I used LATCH. I bought the SL seat specifically because of how awesome the superLATCH seemed. It makes me angry that I can't use the very feature that sold me on the seat. I'm off to write up my report to the NHTSA right now.

Ok, I just tried doing a FF seat belt install and I couldn't figure it out. I thought it was pretty straightforward, but I was obviously doing something wrong because after I tightened it and let the belt retract it would loosen and the seat could be moved.
