Child Passenger Safety Certification?

Is it like three days of theory work and then a seat check on the fourth day or something? Is there a test at the end of the course and what kind of questions are on there if there is. Also, what do you have to do to pass? Is it just take the test or something? Just curious. TY!

When I took my class it was three days of instruction. On the fourth day we had our test and the class inspection event. However, as of June 1 the curriculum is changing, so I have no idea what it will be like.

According to what we've been told, the new curriculum rolls out June 1, any class starting that date or later will use the new curriculum.

Two years, but you should start gathering what you need to recertify much sooner than that. You can do your seatchecks at any time after your initial cetrification. You may need to come back to the states or find an instructor to check then off for you (check US military bases, or contact Safe Kids to determine how you'll be able to do that, because without the ability to check your seats checked of for recertification this may be a waste of your time and money since almost everything you'll learn in class you'll pretty much already know from here.)

Ooh, 2-3 days? Hmm, maybe I could pull off one this fall then. Dh could take 2-3 days off much easier than 5. Off to check the safekids site to see when our next one is!

eta - none this summer, but the latest one shown is August, so maybe fayetteville will get a fall one? I've found that Xander does suprisingly well during the day without me. :(
