I bought this seat for my 9 year old. I think it must have been purchased around march of 2001 and I bought it at BRU. It came with 2 bases and went to 30 or 35lbs if I recall. She made it to almost 2 years old in this seat (she is on the smaller side). I think it was made by cosco but I cant remember. I did love this seat though. It was the seat that got me interested in ERFing.

Cosco Eddie Bauer Opus 35:thumbsup:

yes! thank you! This was before I became really interested in car seats and safety in the car and such (started becoming more educated soon there after) but was wondering....what were the professional opinions on this seat? I will admit I bought it cause it came with 2 bases (needed one for daycare), loved the pastel colors and it had a high weight limit. Not a real fan of cosco now. lol

why do I recall just having to pull up in the back (like the FR80/85 style) to adjust the harness? am I loosing my mind?

That sound like the Fisher Price Safe Embrace Infant seat.

I am pretty sure it was either front adjust or somehow moved the harness up in the back like the baby trend seats do. I dont recall ever rethreadding it. Hmmmmm

here is a front picture of it. Excuse the misuse. I didnt know better at the time

It was like the AO seats adjuster in the back. My niece had the boyish one in 2002 I was 9/10/11(sorry not in the mood to think) and I thought it was the coolest seat ever! Ever since then I have been obsessed with carseats. I always made the straps tight on my neice because I figured the seatbelts in the car were tight on us then they must be tight on the baby too.
