Britax Parkway SGL or Chicco Keyfit Strada

    Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find a booster seat for my 5 year old son. He has been riding in a Britax Wizard for years, but it is time to get him out of it. I am looking for feedback on the Britax Parkway SGL and the Chicco Strada. He is about 45 inches and about 42 pounds. My daughter uses the original Britax Parkway and I really like it but I am concerned that the SGL might end up being to narrow for my son. Any feedback you have on either of these is greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Wendy

Re: Britax Parkway SGL or Chicco Keyfit Strada

My 8 yr old is 55lbs and 52". He has about 1" of torso growing room in the Strada before he's at the top of the belt guide.
I really like it! It's comfortable, has good head wings, adjustable side wings, and it can be used as a backless booster.
the only thing I don't like about it, and the reason my son is using a compass right now is it's really hard for him to buckle his own seat belt because of the closed arm rests. He has a really hard time fishing the belt through the little gap at the front of the arm rest after he's buckled.
