New Seats!

Got the new (to me, came from a trusted friend who I have known the whole lifetime of the seats) seats today and am SO excited for them!

The Frontier fits on the 2nd to highest booster setting which will hopefully get Z to a size where she passes the 5-step test or I have a new car. The way the headrest is centered on the wide seat means it does not hit the slope of the car. I forgot to take pictures of it like that, but will when I uninstall it later. It went in great with LBP. There is absolutely no belt left so it is in there rock solid.

The Regent went in really easy, too. It is SBP since C will be riding in it and he is over 40 pounds. I haven't tried it LBP yet, but will since it has a great recline to it and S2 would probably be comfortable in it on her high seizure days where she needs to ride FF.

I know these seats have been around for a long time and there is a lot of info out there, but if anyone has any questions or wants pictures of something, let me know. I have access to my car (Chevy Cavalier), a Chevy Cobalt 2 door, and possibly a Jeep Cherokee if I can convince my boyfriend to let me play. I will also have access to a Saab 9-3, but not sure yet if I will be bringing the Frontier to VT or just the Regent.

Regent is set to where I am guessing C will be. Frontier is just random since I wanted to try installation.

Thanks, guys! I just met my mom for her break and as I was leaving (she works at a daycare) one of the kiddos I know was getting ready to walk home with her mom so I offered them a ride and got to try out the Frontier. And wouldn't you figure I had it at the perfect height for the kiddo (3.5), too.

Kat, I love the Regent for C. I tried him in it at a store once and he fit perfectly then, so I bet he will still be perfect for it. He is a big kid and was starting to get squished in the GN. He is autistic and nowhere near ready for a booster so I am happy to have this for him. I will probably try to get a cover that matches my car and the Frontier better, though.
