When did your kids outgrow the old Frontier, not the new one?

Ds has only got 1 set of slots to go, I'm hoping it will last him until he turn 5, in 9 months.

What do you think, have I got any hope?

I think you should be fine. My 3.5 yr old just moved up to the top position so I'm going he will make it at least another year. I can't remember what the distance is between positions.

i think you have hope
the one thing about the frontier is the slots are a lot closer together than on most seats
which is great for fit, but BAD for "how much time do i have?"
I think you might have 9 months...but i wouldnt bet the farm. 3 i would bet, so i think you'll get to 4.5

you can try reinstalling..because of the stupid recline foot, you lose so much height, but if you can instal more upright, you can gain some room sometimes. ???

I have really slopey (is that even a word lol) seats so I can't see how I can get it more upright.

4.5 is pretty good right? He'll have to go into a booster full time after that as my (illegal) Frontier has taller slots than any other seat on the market here, he is also over the weight limit for 99% of the seats on the market here :(

I'm in the same boat as you. I really really hope my DD1 will make it to 5 in her Frontier80. She is hovering around needing to move up to the top slot depending on how she sits. We have just over 10 months so we might end up getting a Frontier85 in the next few months just to make sure she is harnessed to at least 5.
