snaggy mest cover on frontier...

My grandmother keeps a seat in her car for the great grands...a frontier (dom is 1-2009) It is the pink sky cover, with the snaggy mesh. She has only had the seat a year and it gets use about twice a month... It is very snagged. Will britax replace or will I have to come out of pocket? She is very cautious about kids in the seat (no feed, drinks ect ect) and has not even washed the cover yet. Thank you for the help:)

I don't think it would hurt to call or e-mail Britax customer service and ask. You don't have to go into to detail about the DOM, just tell them you have a FR and the cover is starting to fall apart/fray/ ect and see what they say.

Yes they should replace it if it is still under warranty, they asked us for a picture of my sons. I think she will have to send the snagged cover back. I didn't b/c we are in Germany but pretty sure stateside has to.

They replaced ours, but it was still under warranty. The seating area on the new one is the velvety material instead of mesh--the rest that was mesh on the old cover is still mesh, but is was the seating area that got snagged before, so the new cover has been fantastic.
