I'd love to put a picture in my signature. I searched, but can't figure out how to do it?

After you have your picture in a online photosite then you right click on the picture, click on properties, copy the address. You then come back to car-seat.org and go into UserCP to where you have your siggy. In the same siggy box you click on the yellow icon with the mountain and sun on it and paste your picture address there. You may have to re-size your picture so it isn't too big, here are the guidelines for siggy's.

Also, there are some new guidelines about the size of member signatures that appear at the end of your posts. Please limit any images and tickers in your signature to a reasonable size, especially if you use multiple images. Please limit the combined height of all your photos, tickers and images to 240 pixels tall as an absolute maximum. The combined width should be no more than 640 pixels wide. The combined file size should be no more than 100kb. We don't want our forum threads to be cluttered like they are on some other websites, with the large majority of a thead being comprised of signatures and advertisements with little actual content. Please feel free to personalize your posts within reason, but the shorter you can make your signature including all text and images, the better. Individual users can turn off Avatars, Signatures and Images if they prefer uncluttered, text-only forum reading. To do this, go to the User CP control panel and choose the Edit Options link on the left side. These options can be disabled in the Thread Display Options section.

See my sig now. The first one is where I used the Add Image (mountain) button. The second is where I used the Add Link (earth w/chain) button. How can I get the pic to show up? I'm not getting it  !!

I just copied the IMG code in Photobucket and pasted it in my Signature box in User CP. Are you recieving any error messages or the images just will not appear?

Okay your picture is showing up here for me. This is the code that I used, try to copy and paste it where your siggy is using the yellow icon with the mountain and sun on it.

Thank you! And that's a cute lil Canadian you've got there :)

In case you are interested, here is a thread that explains more about the forums features (ie. siggy sizes, avatars, reputation points, blogs etc.)

Thanks for the forum link, Jewels! Wish I found that first, but actually, it was photobucket that mixed me up. I had to take out the "action=share" bit.

I love how my posts look now. Even if I say something ridiculous, it'll be framed by a cute kitten with a ball of yarn and a couple of kids in tiaras. Not ALL bad!

Shelsy, your girls are beautiful! :)

:thanx!: Nothing makes me happier than hearing something nice about my kids.

Hayley is a peach, too! My daughters said, "Look at that big kid! She's pretty!" when they were looking over my shoulder here.

Your help has been priceless. I feel 100% pleased with my order (Regents) thanks to you.

I'm so happy to help. I hope your girls like their Regents as much as Hayley loves her Husky (it will expire before she outgrows it, we'll probably end up with a Regent since there's nothing that can compete with the top slot height of that seat). :)

I'm LOL @ "that big kid". :p She's not 6 yet, but definitely a big kid. I need to change my signature--she's 49 inches tall and 50 pounds now!

I thought you'd get a kick out of that "big kid" comment. It's ALL relative, isn't it? When you're nearly-5, an almost-6 seems like a Big Kid.
