Boulevard 70 headrest broke

So I realized my head rest/wings styrofoam is broken on my new boulevard 70. It appears that the new 70 has no plastic backing on the headrest leaving it just floating styrofoam. I am so upset and tried to call Britax but they are closed for the day. Is anyone else having this problem?

Oh no! How did it break? I imagine your seat is within the warranty period so hopefully britax will be of some help once you can get a hold of them. My ds's blvd70 appears to have intact headwing foam but I will double check it.

I have had the styrofoam break in my older BLVD model that I used to have and Britax replaced it no problem!

Thanks.....I was cleaning out my car getting ready to install another BV 70 and noticed that the headrest was floppy on one side. So I took off the cover and saw that it completely broke off. I am not sure when it happened but my guess is since there is no plastic liner on it any longer that DS (3 1/2 years old) might have broken it during one of his tantrums or getting into/out of the seat. He is RFing and 32lbs. I am hoping that Britax replaces it but I am not sure if they can just replace the piece broken or not. I bought it in Aug 2010.

My local BRU had the headrests broken on the Advocate, Boulevard, and Marathons on their shelves. They were all broken. I'm sure in that case it was some teen being mean. But yes, I've seen it. There's nothing to really help keep it together on the sides.

I noticed that after I had to take the cover off from dd puking and needing to wash the cover. I didn't think much about it breaking at the time, but I can see how it could happen from an older child pulling on the wings. :(

Thanks everyone I spoke to Britax and they were wonderful about sending me a replacement foam. One of the many reasons I love them!!
