DS will be at his dad's tomorrow, and it will actually be the first time dad has him with his other 3 kids. Without getting into too much carseat detail - because it would drive you all to drink anyway - I'm trying to decide whether I should rf or ff DS' RN when I put it in his car.
I'm fortunate, because he does follow my carseat rules; and he does allow me to install the carseat myself in his car. So that's a plus. I've always installed it rf.
My problem is, with the RN behind the passenger seat, the passenger seat sits pretty far forward. And there is no other place in the vehicle where I can install his seat. I KNOW he will be putting a 6 yr old into the front passenger seat without so much as a booster. There's nothing I can do about it. And there is an airbag there.
Once my RA55 gets in, I'll be letting him use that one, so space won't be as much of an issue. This will probably be the last and only time this comes up. On one hand, I don't want to force the 6 yr old too close to the front of the vehicle; but on the other hand, I don't want him to have even the slightest inkling that ff DS is acceptable.
