Saw 3 Britax seats in 1 van today!

I was running errands and saw a Dodge Caravan with 2 Regents and 1 rf marathon! I see a lot of Marathons around here, but no regents. The only one I've seen wasn't technically a regent. A lady at church has a Britax special needs seat that looks identical to the regent but has a 125 pound weight limit.

Just thought it was neat! I'm always looking into cars to see their seats!

My bestfriend and I take our kids out all the time in her van or my car together. If you were here, it could have been us. Except we don't have any Regents. But we've had 3 MAs in her van, 2 MAs and I Radian in her van, and my car, and 2 Radians, and 1 MA in her van, (we haven't taken out my car since I got my Radian.) So I am sure we have impressed other Moms that know anything about these seats too. lol, I never thought of that until I read your post. It is always nice running into someone else who cares as much as we all do.

I'm always looking in cars to see what's in there for carseats.

I see quite a few Britax, but yes, when I saw a Regent in a car a couple weeks ago I got excited and told my friend that was with me. She laughed (she knows I'm a bit obsessed).

I saw a Husky in a truck once and about peed my pants. Lol. I actually see a few Britax's just not usually being used correctly.

I still take comfort in the guy who I saw getting out of the car with his 4 year old daughter who was RF in a Marathon. The guy probably thought I was nuts because I thought that was SO cool. (My kids were like little then. Lol.)

Britaxs must be more common here in Portland, I see them all the time driving around, especially MAs. Today I saw a car with a blue husky, which is definitely less common around here than the MA. And yes I make a habit of looking in cars too :p I've seen a couple of Radians too. Although I see plenty of scary seats too, lots of old century harness/booster things and a number of OHS seats. Crappy Sports also seem to be astonishingly popular.

This would be my family driving around. I am always telling them how important carseats are and they look at me like I'm a nut and can't believe how much we've already spent. My mom always says that when we were growing up they didn't even have carseats. Most of the carseats that they have are Garage sale puchases and are 10 plus years old:eek:
