Okay, so technically I don't have my certificate yet... it gets mailed out to me, but I passed!
I'll find out my exact mark when the exam gets mailed back to me, but from the quiz the first day... I did really well!
I only got one mark deducted and it was ridiculous to deduct it. How do you determine what seat the child should be in? Answer: weight and height - I was supposed to add... and stage. She deducted a mark for not putting "and stage"... do I really need to explain that weight and height determine the stage the child is in?
She really promoted extended RF, but sadly, does not believe in RF Tethering... obviously has not done all the research on it, since she quotes Sweden as having fantastic RF seats for children up to 4/5 yrs old... never mentions the fact that they require you to tether the seat RF and when I asked about that was told... Well, their seats are different than ours, they are much larger and are required to be braced and tethered. Our seats aren't big enough to be braced. Huh?
Overall, she was really good, up to date on all the new products coming out and knew her stuff. I can't wait to do a seat check clinic! We're going to do two major ones per year. One in late June and one in late August.
