Does anyone know anything about this seat? I have only been able to find that it's rated "Good" by the Stiftung Warentest, ADAC, etc, though I know that these standards are lesser than Swedish and U.S. standards.
For the record, I live in Germany but am from the U.S. so theoretically, I have access to a seats sold there, as well. My son is 3.5 and 18.5 kg and 104 cm. He's pretty tall for his age.
Now we have a Brio Zento which we are now using FF. I know it's a Swedish seat and a safe seat, but, it has not been the most user-friendly seat in some ways. There are really no "nice" features. In the U.S. my son uses a Graco Nautilus which is very comfortable for him, reclines, has a cup holder and the harness is much easier to deal with, doesn't twist itself constantly, the shell is obviously much taller/adjustable, etc. In general, he just seems to like it better. And for some reason, it seems to be a a major hassle to install and adjust the Zento. Don't know why. Maybe it's us.
This is part of the reason I am just curious about the Concord Transformer XT. It looks a bit more comfortable, definitely more user friendly from an adjustment standpoint, would recline instead of my son slumping forward like he does now. But, I definitely don't take German test standards as the last word.
But, does anyone have any knowledge of this seat? I would love to hear any thoughts.
