MyRide shell taller than Scenera?

I'm trying to figure out if DD will fit RF in a MyRide. She has outgrown the 40lb rf Scenera by height.

We have an XTSL, but a friend who is pregnant is having a hard time getting her 3 year old into her MyRide, so I was thinking of just switching with her until she is able to get a Radian or she has the baby.

I could probably pick up a CA65 with the BRU trade in coupon, I've got a few expired seats in my basement, but I'd rather not shell out any cash if I don't need to.

I just tried DS in the MyRide the other day and took measurements. He had 5 inches above his shoulders to the top slot and almost 5 inches above his head. He is also 38 inches tall.
I don't know what the RF height requirements are for the MR but I think he would have fit RF.
His current seat is a CA65 and he has lots of room in that also. I don't have exact measurements though, but he is on the 2nd slot RF.

My son had several more inches to grow in the MR than he did the Scenera. So I think your DD should fit. Is there a way that you can try her in it before you swap? I think that is going to be the best way to tell. But I really think she will fit at 38" unless she has a super long torso.

Can you measure her torso for us? That would help better.

When my son had outgrown the Scenera FF, he still fit in the MR RF with about 1.5 inches of growing room left, IIRC

Thanks everyone. I was able to try her in it at Walmart today and it looks like she has about an inch to grow, 2 inches above her head, so that should be fine until May.

I did check her height and torso, and she's 38" tall and torso is 14.25".

It also tends to install with (sometimes significantly) more room in the car. Like, by several inches. So if she had 2" above her head in the store, then you should be just fine until May!
