Looks like the road trip we got back from last night was her last RF. :( I'm thrilled that she made it 3 years, 7 months RF but this really makes me sad!

I'll be turning seats around tonight. *sniff sniff*

I'm jealous! My ds is 31ish pounds and only 27 months, I am really hoping to get him through the summer before turning him FF!

Aww thanks guys!! And I hope you can get through the summer RF Gypsy. :)

Edited because I'm a dork and thought you wrote that he was 27 pounds. LOL I hope he gains those last two pounds really slowly. It took about 6 months for mine to do it, but she's also quite a bit older and they gain slower then anyway.

Awwww

FWIW, I can't believe your dd managed to rf SO LONG! Our daughters are only about a month apart. I rf'd dd until she was 18 months and thought we were doing great to manage that extended period!
She was 'only' 28lbs at the time, but there were circumstances that convinced me to have her ff. By 24 months, she was over 32lbs with clothes on! I still don't know where she hid the weight :shrug-shoulders: She's now about 41" and abt 35lbs, so that weight gain at 18-24 months has never been matched, thankfully.

You've done a marvelous job!

It's a whole different world facing forward :p

Morganthe - my DD was diagnosed as failure to thrive at 18 months so that didn't hurt in terms of keeping her RF longer. She completely refused solid foods for a long, long time and didn't gain any weight from 12 months until around 20 months. So I'm not surprised that she took a long time to get to 33 pounds. When she was 18 months I was actually predicting that she would outgrow the MA in height before weight but she proved me wrong.

Now I'm curious to see when my non-FTT kid gets to 33 pounds. :)

Your DD is absolutely gorgeous btw. I think that to myself everytime I see your siggy but I don't know if I've ever posted it before.
