Acura RDX vs. Radian... they don't play so nice. PICS!

The RDX latch reminded me of the CRV... someone compared it similarly I believe in shape and size? Anyway... there are 5 latch anchors.

So I first installed it with latch in the center position and it went fabulously... But only until the Solly Test.

The Solly Test means I pretended a 34 pound 2 year old was climbing into his own seat... And quickly found that the seat belt hole was in a bad bad spot...

With the current boot that Sunshine Kids sells the seat wont install center using latch.

It just starts to lean so easily... that boot sinks right in...

The seat belt install wasn't as easy... notice the twisting on the belt stalk... I believe it was two full twists. It moved the seat over a bit and helped.

The older style Radian boot could also solve the problem, but I didn't do an actual install.

These weren't the easiest Radian installs ever (actually that may have been the Leaf!) but it was definitely possible to get the Radian installed RF center. And there was plenty of room. The install isn't exactly center, it's off set by both the Latch and seat belt (though not as badly with the seat belt). And I did like that the center shoulder belt wasn't a ceiling contraption! lol

Enjoy!

And latch:

On a good note. The rep was doing a report. So, when I asked what the latch limit was, he was full of questions. Gabe spent a long time educating!
