Hi - I was hoping for pictures of the harness adjustment and/or back of this seat. Or, even manual pages would be glorious - Thank you!

Tomorrow. I promise that I will scan the instruction manual and post it tomorrow. Just didn't have time to do it earlier today and right now I'm too tired to get off the couch and find my stash of manuals.

This is a Turnabout with a front recoiling adjuster, I think from 1996:

I'm guessing that's not what you want though, since you're asking about the back of the seat.

Nope, not exactly - However, I do enjoy a cute baby picture! ;)

I'm looking for circa 2001

HTH! But I still think you need to find a way to prevent this seat from being used by another child. Document everything like crazy and make sure the people you are working with sign or initial that they understand that the seat is expired and unsafe to use. Or perhaps you can hold onto the seat until the original owner claims it in person and then have them sign the disclaimer. Good luck!

Thank you, Kecia!

Yes, the family is pretty upset about not doing their research and I think their passionate and real concern will be conveyed to their friends. I'm hoping to get the seat for training purposes. I'm willing to pay cash for it. I had not seen this seat and even though the harness was done incorrectly - I wouldn't have been able to identify the exact "why". Also, I love seeing the evolution of changes in seats.

Update: The family immediately went to BRU and traded it in for a new Graco Snugride 30!

Another beautiful baby in a safer seat! Thanks for your help
