Recycled harness

I put this together with an old car seat harness. I have made another one for a child before but unfortunately I do not have a photo of that one.

Very cool...just one question though...

I know that the car seat harness webbing will hold, but what weight will the lightweight aluminum walker hold up to? My MIL is about 200lbs... I could just see the walker collapsing if she sat on it.

She uses something like [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Medline-Quality-Rollator-Rolling-Walker/dp/B000MLT3Q4"]THIS[/ame] if she leaves the house, but a regular walker in the house...

I sat in this walker to test it out for about 30 minutes and it was no problem. I weigh about 240 pounds. You can not wiggle around in the seat and I wouldn't recommend it for longer then just a short break but to be able to catch your breath and take a minute is what this is intended for.

Still collecting harnesses for you. Most of our junk seats are currently 6 feet under (snow.)

Walkers are designed to take the full weight of the user, just like crutches. Walkers are used when crutches are deemed not stable enough for the user.
