Symphony 65 issue? causing back pain?

DD4 is FF in the Symphony65 at 34-36lbs on any given day.

She complains ALL.THE.TIME. that it hurts her back. I noticed today that she has a spot/sore on her spine. We have been in the van quite frequently over the past week. There is no other explanation for the spot. I pulled the cover and don't see anything under the cover or poking thru.

Anyone else have this issue? Suggestions? This will become DS's seat once he is out of the bucket once it warms up in April or so... We need to remedy this until then...

Does it have the EPS foam that ends abruptly on the back area like the EFTA does? I have resisted getting the EFTA because it looks uncomfortable to me.

Hmm.. didn't really look at that. Will look at that in the morning.

Can't use the infant padding FF or after a certain weight right? Manual is in the car and too late to go look right now.. She has never used it, but wondering if it would help if it were allowed....

Does your cover have velcro in the middle of the back? I don't know if the Symphony covers were the same as the EFTA covers but if so, Evenflo replaced my cover for free when I called. My dd is RF in the EFTA and complained plus got the red spot on her back with the velcro cover. The new one doesn't seem to bother her.

I'd call Evenflo. They were great with me.
