Which would you use?

I'm trying to get out of this, but might have to go...

We're in the middle of this winter storm; currently 1" or so of ice blanketing everything, with wind and we're supposed to get snow throughout the day. Roads are actually pretty ok now but are supposed to get worse by this afternoon.

I might need to take a drive with BabyK (7m, ~18lb.) The commute takes about 25-30 minutes in normal weather and light traffic (which is what there usually is.) 8-10 min of the drive is surface streets (suburb-y) and the rest is on a 4-lane divided highway (65mph speed limit.) Probably only a one-way drive, early/mid-afternoon.

Seat options (all RF):

3rd row driver - Radian80SL
3rd row center - Coccoro
2nd row center - SR35, baseless
2nd row center - Scenera
2nd row center - MyRide

This is in a Honda Pilot in good repair, side curtain airbags all rows.

I'm leaning towards the MR because of its deep sides, in the very center of the vehicle, but want to make sure there's nothing I hadn't considered that would make something else a better choice. I am rather skittish because I spun out, overcorrected, and crossed the median and both lanes of traffic a year ago today. BabyK and I will be the only ones in the vehicle.

Honestly, I'd try not to go. I know you said that might not be possible. You have great seats and properly installed I don't know that any one is better than the other. Maybe others can chime in more on that soon. Hope you are able to stay in warm and safe.

Just found out that barring something truly bizarre, we don't have to go. Yeah! I am still curious what others think, though. Just super glad we get to stay home. I'm really not superstitious but I did NOT want to drive that road today... glad the weather cooperated lol. :)

I would chose the MR center as well, but it would have to be a emergency for me to be willing to take my kid out in that. I would be PISSED if my nanny took the boys out in that unless it was a life or limb emergency. JMO

If we go at this point (which is extremely unlikely) it would be to get her to her dad. He seems unfazed by the conditions and went into work as normal, everybody else stayed home. I was able to rearrange everything else to keep both of us from making that drive (separately or together,) because I did NOT like the idea of taking her out. I have her at my apartment today (instead of the other family's house, where we normally are,) so that we didn't have to go. Trust me, not something I wanted to do, and we shouldn't have to now.
