Hi,
My son has behavioural issues and low muscle tone and as such doesn't stay in a booster with a lap sash belt. The five point harness works well for him, with some recline. Luckily he is fairly light weight 15kg at 5.5yrs, and he is 108cms tall. He is currently in a safe and sound maxi rider II AHR(we are in oz), but the harness is in the top slots so need to get organised for the next seat. So although he will fit weight requirements he will get too tall for it.
The only seat I can get here with extended harness use is the Britax traveller plus, but it is about $1100-1600, although we may get funding for part of it still may be unrealitstic.
The other thing I can do is import a seat from the US, as I can get the required exemptions to use seat here.
But I am not sure which seat from the US is good, it needs to have the versa teether strap and some recline, was looking at the Britax Frontier 85, but was wondering what they are like to use, does it recline? and would anyone recommend anything else?
Thanks for your help,
Gem
