I went to the annual 'tri-county' neighborhood rummage sale today, and it was just one bad seat after another.
Ancient seats, Shield boosters, OHS seats, and FILTHY seats.....BLECH!:thumbsdown:
I forgot to make up a flier ahead of time, and despite my info - I didn't see any sellers taking their crappy seats in. It was just depressing!

(A bit of good news - I got an almost brand new jogging stroller for $25!!!)

My cousin who is much older and works as a pedi nurse is a garage sale queen. She called my mom today while I was gone saying she found a Graco travel system for $45 and wanted to get it for me

I was so proud of my mom for turning her down :thumbsup: Mom sure has come a loooooong way! But I just don't get how a pedi nurse doesn't know not to buy used seats

I thought this was common knowledge? I don't even know where I heard it from, but it was a couple years ago. Why doesn't this stuff get around? Even the local baby resale stores around here won't even take seats anymore because of the risks!
