well, that sounds like a challenge to me... off to see if I can track it down.... I'm guessing it's british...

ETA - been searching... no luck.. but noticed that there is a TINY TINY tag on the (child's) left headwing... anyone with superman's vision wanna figure it out for me?)

I have no clue. In the comments for that video, it says the video was filmed in London. In doing a quick search on the Amazon UK site, I don't see any boosters similar to it.

this is where my MINI-nerdness comes out....

its made by BMW and called the Junior Seat.
its a stage 1-2 seat
the one in the MINI commercial is a version made for the MINI (bmw makes the MINI).

it comes with a shield.

they are available in the UK by being purchased through BMW/MINI.
they also make an infant seat and a dedicated booster seat

the child in the commercial is fine to use the seat as is but they should have been using the shield for a child up to 40lbs.
it doesnt look like the child is 40lbs to me. but otherwise, in the UK he is legal to use as you see.

good job! I finally got close... thought it might be one of the concord boosters... but my prob was that I couldn't find the bmw site for the uk.
