More pics of radian xtsl covers on non xt models

There have been a few threads in the past showing this, but I thought I'd share again incase anyone missed that they fit.

Now, I can't tell you to go out and do this because according to Sunshine kids, you aren't supposed to switch covers between models as they are different seats, but unofficially, they do fit well enough IMO.

Here is a petal xtsl cover on my RN80 (not an SL). It fits quite well.
The infant body pillow/toddler head pillow is in the space in the cover where the XT wings would go. If pulled all the way up, the pillow does not interefere with the harness at all, not even the top slots that my girls are using.
It looks close, but it doesn't cover them.

The snaps don't snap because my seat has metal snaps and the cover has plastic, but IMO it's not a problem to leave it unsnapped. It doesn't get in the way of anything, and when tucked back, it stays put.

Here is the snap just hanging there before I tucked it back.

And tucked in better.

Fits quite well on the sides.

Both of the girls seats in the car.

We haven't used the toddler head pillow from my other covers in the past, so I was hoping the girls wouldn't mind having these there. They are not bothered by them, they love them. I like that since they are in the flap on the cover, they don't move around like they would otherwise.

Oh, and the flora cover is on a rn 65 from 2007, it fits well too.
In an old thread about this, someone had a malibu cover on a 65 or 80 and said it fit but they had to stretch it a bit because it was a little tight. That's not the case with these, I wonder if the xtsl covers are looser than the xt covers? If anything, these covers might be a little baggy on my seats, but not enough to be a problem. I think they fit very well.

So, there you go.

Thanks for posting pictures! I have always wondered if they actually fit on the seats without wings. and that is such a good idea to use the wings cover as a pillow! I never would have thought of that!

Thanks, I got the idea from others here, I thought it was a good idea too.

Oh, just re-read, it's not the wings cover, it's the pillow that is the infant body pillow and then later it's a toddler head pillow (though I don't think they can actually be used as a head pillow in the xt's)

That's an even better idea!

I have a question- aren't the slits in the cover for the hip straps? I have seen a couple of them through that big opening where the snap is instead of where the serged opening is. I just wanted to clarify.

Mine arrived new in box with the straps routed through the big holes, instead of the serged slits. I ASSumed it was correct that way. I'd like to know which is correct, in case mine isn't.
