Wondering what this piece is, and how it should be used. Cant find anything in the manual about this piece.

Behind cover, there is a plastic piece that moves up & down

Just talked to Britax customer service

They say that it doesnt matter if it's up or down, that it's just an extra piece for when the head wings are all the way in the up position. It will not affect the performance/safelty of the seat if it's up or down

She did say it locks into place when the head piece is in one of the upper positions but the extra piece will lower when the head rest is in a lower postion

**She never told me what it was though LOL**
