Hi all.

I have 4 children--well, one is on the way this May 2011.

So 3 girls, 1 boy.

Ages: 6,4--to be 5 yrs old this May,and 1.5
Weight: 40 lbs, 30 lbs, 22 lbs.

Once newborn arrives in May, the middle child will be 5 yrs old. The 6 yr old and 1.5 yr old turn 7 & 2 this September 2011.

Dilemma: where to put car seats? We have a live-in nanny as well--which takes up 1 chair, plus myself, my wife.

I was thinking of having 2 FF booster seats (Graco, Nautilis Julia brand) in the back (one far right, one far left)--and perhaps a rear facing regular car seat--but not sure if practical--in the middle of the rear row.

The middle seats would include newborn, rear-facing, and wife...

Not sure if this is the best, recommended arrangement?

Ideally, 3 booster seats in rear row, all FF. But the infant whose 1.5 yrs old is too young....

I don't have a solution for you, but I have an '07 Ody and you won't get 2 Nautilus and a convertible in the 3rd row. The Nautilus is fairly wide. Hopefully a tech or someone with experience putting 3 across in the 3rd row will chime in. GL!

I don't know anything about the Ody but I am guessing you will need at least one radian to a 3 across in the third row. You might need more than one radian.

So, what seats do you currently have for each kid and how do they fit (where are shoulders compared to slots? What's their weights?)

Did you check out the extended rearfacing info from the other thread?

Ok - so I am linking below the search results that come up for the Honda Odyssey van.

Hopefully this link works for you.

I haven't gone through the suggestions but wanted to mention that for your oldest, you might have more luck using a Graco Turbobooster instead of a Nautilus in the third row. It is much more narrow. They are on sale at Target this week and fit smaller booster age kids better.

For your almost five year old, I see a few suggestions in the thread that include a Nautilus. Another option is the Evenflo Maestro. It costs around $80 and is much narrower than a Nautilus. This assumes you still want her harnessed. I would strongly suggest that given her weight - but I would only buy that seat if you are going to use the harness for a while.

I know your thread mentions that yours is a 7 passenger vehicle. Do you have the plus one seat? We can also give some options if that is available to you.
