Who are you and what did you do with my husband?

DH went out last night after I got home from work to pick up a new humidifier (I dropped the old one, and it shattered into a million pieces). He comes home and says this:

DH: "What do you think. Nautilus for $125 and a complete air for $98?"

Me:

I really have no idea who this man is (he who said last week that if a Oobr came in the door he'd be walking out

)

Did he just say I could buy a new carseat?

He might have just been wondering if those were good prices for those seats, not suggesting in any way that you buy them. I know that's what it would mean if DH said that to me. Most likely so that he could pass the info on to a coworker or something.

In my house that would be explicit permission.

because 1, dh would never even be in the carseat aisle without me, and 2, he especially wouldn't be checking prices on them.
