With booster seats being easier (install wise) than a reg. CS do you have one for ea car or just transfer them between as needed?

A little of each, LOL. I have 2 boys in high-back boosters right now. I have 3 booster seats. That way I only have to move one around, and DH doesn't have 2 boosters in his car (especially since he usually only takes one boy at a time -- whichever one has hockey practice on that particular day).

Dh has never had seats in his car, so we only had one set of seats. When he was deployed last time I would just switch the car seats to his car to drive it for a week or so, then switch them back. This time though we have one extra seat since dd just turned ff and ds just outgrew the harness in his GN. For now, we have one booster we will switch back and forth, but in a month or so, I will be getting a Monterey that will stay in my van, and his Turbo will stay in the car.

I like to have (at the very least) an extra cheap backless on hand for my babysitting kids in case we forget to switch boosters or for unplanned trips or whatever. Things happen.
